Olivia Wilde, the award-winning actress and director, stunned on the 2023 Academy Museum Gala red carpet, donning effortlessly voluminous waves to complement her dramatic all-black ensemble. Celebrity hairstylist Barb Thompson created the look exclusively using products from vegan hair care brand Authentic Beauty Concept.
Get the Look:
- To prep the hair, start with Amplify Mousse through the roots to mid-shafts for fullness.
- Next, liberally spray Blow Dry Primer Spray through mid-shafts to ends to protect from heat and give the hair memory to last the whole night.
- Once blown out, set the crown with mesh rollers to help create modern volume. Curl the hair by wrapping it around a 1.5-inch iron, starting at the root, to help ensure the utmost fullness. Once curled, add the Nourishing Hair Oil for shine and slight separation through the ends.
- Lock in the looks with Strong Hold Hairspray.
